What Happens on the Visit

01Free inspectionA no-obligation inspection of the home: signs of activity, entry points and risk areas. We confirm the pest and the extent of the problem, and give you an upfront price before anything is applied.
02A plan for your homeEvery home is different, so the treatment plan is built for yours. We explain what we are doing, why it works, and what it means for children and pets.
03TreatmentCarried out by fully licensed and insured exterminators using eco-friendly treatments that are safe for children and pets when applied correctly.
04Sealing the way inRemoving the pests is only part of the job. We seal the cracks, holes and gaps found during the inspection so they cannot come back the same way.
05Follow-upWe follow up to confirm the result. If pests return within the guarantee period, we come back at no extra charge.

Book a Free Home Inspection

Tell us what you are seeing and where. We will come back with a free, no-obligation quote for home pest control in Surrey — usually the same day or the next. If the property has a suite, or more than one unit is affected, mention it and we will scope it correctly the first time.

The inspection

Where Pests Get Into a Surrey Home

Most home pest control in Surrey comes down to one question: where is it getting in. Finding and sealing those points is step four of the visit above, and it is why a treatment holds instead of repeating.

On a house, the inspection covers the gaps around gas, water and electrical penetrations, vent screens, garage door seals, dryer vents, branches touching the roofline, and the crawlspace — the one most owners have never looked at.

In a house with a suite, two kitchens and two sets of waste sit inside one structure, sharing plumbing, heating, wall cavities and the crawlspace. Treating one half leaves the other feeding the problem, so tell us there is a suite when you book and we will inspect both halves together.

In a townhouse, condo or apartment, shared walls and service risers are the route, so a unit treated beside an untreated one is usually reinfested. If a neighbour has reported the same pest, say so at the quote stage. If you rent, put it to your landlord or building manager in writing — we will give either of you a written inspection report.

Your appointment

Before and After Your Visit

Before we arrive

  • Clear access to kitchen and bathroom baseboards, under-sink cabinets and wherever you have seen activity
  • Put food, pet bowls and children’s items away, and cover anything left on counters
  • Vacuum beforehand rather than after, and empty it outside
  • Leave the crawlspace hatch, electrical panel and the perimeter of the house reachable
  • If there is a suite or a tenant, arrange access to both units for the same appointment
  • Cover fish tanks and switch the pump off during treatment

Afterwards

Ask your technician for the re-entry time before they leave. Avoid washing treated baseboards and perimeter surfaces for a couple of weeks — that is where the treatment is working. Normal cleaning everywhere else is fine straight away.

Keeping it that waycomes down to four things: seal gaps (the Province of BC’s guidance is 6 mm or wider), keep vegetation cut back from siding and roofline, keep bins closed and pet food in sealed containers, and fix leaks and standing water.

Who we help

Who We Work For

Homeowners

Houses with or without a suite. The inspection covers the full exterior, not just the room you called about.

Renters and tenants

Report it to your landlord in writing and let the technician in. The Province’s position is that landlords are generally responsible for controlling insect infestations such as bed bugs.

Landlords with a suite

Two units in one house need looking at together. A treatment on one side alone does not hold.

Strata and condo owners

A pest inside your unit is normally yours; shared walls, risers and the building exterior are normally the corporation’s. Your registered bylaws govern.

Residential Pest Control FAQs

How much does residential pest control cost?

Pest control for a standard Surrey home typically starts at $300 to $350 plus tax for common household pests such as cockroaches or ants. Larger properties, or homes with more than one kitchen, typically run $400 to $450 or more depending on the treatment required.

Do you treat the upstairs and the suite in the same visit?

Arrange access to both units for the same appointment and tell us at the quote stage that there is a suite, so we can scope the visit correctly.

I rent. Who arranges and pays for it?

The Province’s position is that landlords are generally responsible for controlling insect infestations, such as bed bugs. Report it to your landlord in writing and give the technician access. We will give either side a written inspection report. General information, not legal advice.

Is the treatment safe for children and pets?

Yes. Our treatments are eco-friendly and applied by fully licensed exterminators using products that are safe for children and pets when applied correctly. Ask your technician for the re-entry time before they leave.

How soon can I clean afterwards?

Avoid washing treated baseboards and perimeter surfaces for a couple of weeks — that is where the treatment is working. Normal cleaning everywhere else is fine straight away.

What if the pests come back?

Every treatment carries our 100-Day Pest-Free Guarantee. If pests return within that period, we come back and treat again at no additional cost.

Do you find where they are getting in, or just treat what you see?

Both. Sealing the cracks, holes and gaps is part of the job — removing pests without closing the route in is why treatments fail.

Can you come the same day?

Often, yes. We offer same-day and emergency appointments depending on availability and how urgent it is. Call (604) 229-1097 and we will tell you honestly what we can do today.
